Not everyone is mad keen on gardening, touring gardens, or planning gardens. It’s one of my very favorite things though. All the smells, the textures, the colors, the hope and inevitable despair-gardening is a much more fluffy effort than farming. When I was little, girls in my class didn’t want to be astronauts or lawyers or famous singers, nope. They wanted to be mermaids. AND, it was indeed a viable entry on your homework assignment of potential career choices because we lived in the town over from Weeki Wachee. You really could aspire to be a professional mermaid. I
